The inaugural Express Eventing International Cup took place at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, in November 2008, and saw 19 of the world's top event riders compete for the £100, 000 top prize. All three sections of the competition took place in the stadium, making this competition a spectacle to watch for the audience, and an equally exciting ride for the competitors.
