| 15:00 |  15:30-17:30 FEATURED EVENT: Barry and Joe from The Ride arrive in Cape Town (WC)Barry and Joe set out on our latest expedition “Into the Unknown” from the Kwa-Zulu Natal in November 2011. With their horses, Cola, Cherokee, Pat and Jack, and back-up crew Leanne Black and Natalie Basson, they planned to ride to Cape Town. Part fund raiser, part road show, part social experiment, they trusted in the spirit of goodwill of their fellow South Africans to provide places to stay for their horses, and for themselves. They trusted well, and have been privileged to enjoy the best South Africa has to offer; generosity, hospitality, great company, and amazing landscapes. Over 2000 kilometres and 10 weeks later, they will be arriving in Cape Town on Saturday, January 14th. The Ride team have happily accepted the invitation of Kendre Allies, aka the “Urban Cowboy”, to end their journey at Oude Molen Stables. Please join them to celebrate: you'll be able to meet the team and the horses, and remember to bring cash to help fill the charity tins, and reach their target of raising R100,000.00 for the Cart Horse Protection Association, the Highveld Horse Care Unit and the Coastal Horse Care Unit.
