The pure beauty and spirit of horses makes them a favorite subject for artists. With the friendly instruction in this book, rendering these magnificent animals is both achievable and fun, even for beginners.
Step by step, Jeanne Filler Scott shows you how to draw and paint the elegant lines, graceful movements and unique personalities that capture your heart.

This book is more about the lady and her new husband than about the horses. Read the first one, Chosen By A Horse, that is very good and all about the horses. It's excellent as it tells you just how far you can go with an animal. Sometimes animals when given the choice will not choose to die, and the best we can do is give them that little bit of extra time and love before we send them on their way. Food for thought.

Think you might be a bit confused; wrong book? ... this book is about drawing and painting?

I would loooooove this book! What beter way to continue exploring the beauty of these magnificent creatures, and to be able to spend hours learning on how to create a picture that's worth more than a thousand words. If I can't be at the stables, then this is what I would be doing!
