* 09:00-17:00 (24-Jun-2012) FEATURED EVENT: In Rhythm with your Authentic Self workshop with Vanessa Malvicini (Pta)
Vanessa Malvicini is a pioneer in doing Equine Facilitated Learning with Herds of horses and Wild Horses. Her approach, which she developed together with the horses that live with her, offers the possibility to experience working with horses in their fullest expression: at liberty, and in a herd setting. At the same time, program participants will be able to express themselves to the fullest in a safe environment, where emotions are going to be used as information, as the horses do. This process has been structured to allow people to get to know themselves and how to create and be in relationship in freedom. Vanessa says: "My work is approved by my dear Sisters: Linda Kohanov (author of Tao of Equus, Riding Between Worlds and Way of the Horse: http://www.eponaquest.com/) and Kathleen Ingram (http://www.sacredplaceofpossibility.com/). I am part of a community of like-minded people which are facilitating the work that the horses do and at the same time we are helping to create more consciousness around their 4-legged friends and consensual colleagues." Vanessa's website: http://www.icavalli.de/ NO EQUESTRIAN KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY Cost: R1200 (R300 per day) per person We have decided on a price that will only cover the costs of the workshop so as not to exclude any willing participants. However each participant may give a contribution on top of this price to Vanessa, worth what they feel they can give, to compensate Vanessa for her time facilitating this workshop. Vanessa's 6 day workshop that she holds in Cape Town is worth R14 300, so it is amazing to have an opportunity to be a part of her workshop here. Included in the price is: lunch every day, journals designed by Vanessa, art materials used by participants and 4 days of growth, learning and self-exploration with the horses! Payment of the fixed price (R1200) must please be paid in full when booking, to confirm your place in the workshop and it is non-refundable as it is used to cover the costs. PS. PLEASE NOTE, this is not a horse training or horsemanship workshop. It is about finding our true power through authenticity, compassionate boundaries and letting go of the ego to be able to listen and co-exist with our horses on a deeper level (It is not just for people with horses, these skills are beneficial for relationships, business and everyday life). Horses in their herd will be greatly involved in this workshop itself but participants will not work with or ride individual horses in a training environment.
