- I have been with Entwood stables for 7 years now. I originally baited an Andalusian gelding who gave me my confidence back after a bad accident. Dave and Heather helped me to get my nerve back and taught me all aspects of horse management. I now have my own TB gelding, Imperial Mint and they have been superb in assiting with his racing problems both physical and mental. I love Entwood and Mint is a very happy horse.

- I bought my mare Lyric just over 4 years ago - with the help of Heather and Dave (would never choose a horse without them), and only had lessons before for a bit more than a year, so really knew nothing about keeping my own horse. They taught me (and still do) everything I need to know. Amongst all us 'Entwood Girls" we support each other whenever needed. Have now got 2 horses there - would not have them anywhere else.

- I started my first riding lesson at the age of 34. Having never ridden before I was the most nervous rider you have ever seen. The horse moved an ear and I yelped! I doubt I would have coped at any other yard. But with Heather and Dave's support I have now owned my boy Boldy for two years. He is the perfect challenge and he keeps me on my toes. I thoroughly enjoy my riding, my confidence is a million times better, and there is always some one at hand to help out. Whether it’s a word of encouragement, or with something I don't know. The Entwood Girls are great fun, and I could never imagine stabling Boldy anywhere else!

- I have been riding at Entwood for nearly 4 years. When I arived, I could not even go into a stable to touch a horse. Dave and Heather are dedicated to what they do and to their horses. Their knowledge is vast and they are still open to learn more. I love Dave who challenges me and Heather who neatens me. I do not own my own horse, but their school horses are great. Their oldest horse, being Koala, is about 30 years now. I rode her on Saturday, and she gave me such a fun ride. My favourite horse is Topper and I love riding him, even though he is about 24 years old.
Entwood is my therapy...it is the atmosphere, the horses and the wonderful people. I have temporal lobe epilipsy, which was diagnosed through my horse riding. Both Dave and Heather have been patient with me, and know when to push and when not to. I will get my own horse one day, and I will go nowhere else but Entwood. I dont even mind travelling to Kyalami twice a week, as it is so worth it!by Ru — 04 Feb : 20:33

- I have been riding at Entwood for ages and inherited Sambuka almost 4 years ago to the day !! I found Entwood through a friend of mine and started by takingmy son riding for "therapy" ... "what rubbish" the principal said !!!! How naive some people are ... needless to say I am still at Entwood and 2 ( 10 and 14 ) of my kids ride and live for going to the stables and are both very capable riders. I owe all this to Heather and Dave and everytime a hint of relocation!sad is mentioned by my husband I just about have a panic attack as I couldn't imagine being at any other stable yard!!! The stable girls are awsome and I really enjoy my time that I spend at Entwood. Sorry for you "BlueJoker" ...
